1-1 AN ACT 1-2 relating to the creation of the juvenile board of Concho County. 1-3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: 1-4 SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 152, Human Resources Code, 1-5 is amended by adding Section 152.0541 to read as follows: 1-6 Sec. 152.0541. CONCHO COUNTY. (a) The juvenile board of 1-7 Concho County is composed of the county judge and the district 1-8 judges in Concho County. 1-9 (b) The juvenile court judge is the chairman of the board 1-10 and its chief administrative officer. 1-11 (c) The commissioners court may pay the board chairman 1-12 additional annual compensation of not more than $600 for the added 1-13 duties imposed on the chairman. The commissioners court may pay the 1-14 other board members additional annual compensation of not more than 1-15 $300. The compensation shall be paid in equal monthly installments 1-16 from the general fund or any other available fund. 1-17 (d) Sections 152.0002, 152.0004, 152.0006, 152.0007, and 1-18 152.0008 do not apply to the juvenile board of Concho County. 1-19 SECTION 2. The importance of this legislation and the 1-20 crowded condition of the calendars in both houses create an 1-21 emergency and an imperative public necessity that the 1-22 constitutional rule requiring bills to be read on three several 1-23 days in each house be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended, 1-24 and that this Act take effect and be in force from and after its 2-1 passage, and it is so enacted. _______________________________ _______________________________ President of the Senate Speaker of the House I certify that H.B.
