                             HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

 1-1           WHEREAS, Section 17, Article III, Texas Constitution,

 1-2     provides that neither house of the legislature may adjourn for more

 1-3     than three days without the consent of the other house; now,

 1-4     therefore, be it

 1-5           RESOLVED by the 75th Legislature, That each house grant the

 1-6     other permission to adjourn for more than three days during the

 1-7     period beginning on Wednesday, March 26, 1997, and ending on

 1-8     Tuesday, April 1, 1997.
