HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

 1-1           WHEREAS, House Bill No. 2049 has been adopted by the house of

 1-2     representatives and the senate and is being prepared for

 1-3     enrollment; and

 1-4           WHEREAS, The bill contains technical errors that should be

 1-5     corrected; now, therefore, be it

 1-6           RESOLVED by the 75th Legislature of the State of Texas, That

 1-7     the enrolling clerk of the house of representatives be instructed

 1-8     to correct House Bill No. 2049 by striking Section 240.904(j),

 1-9     Local Government Code, as added by Senate Committee Amendment No.

1-10     2, by adding a new section to the bill, to be numbered

1-11     appropriately, to read as follows, and by renumbering subsequent

1-12     sections of the bill appropriately:

1-13           SECTION ____.  The changes in the law made by this Act apply

1-14     to drought conditions that may arise in any county or part of a

1-15     county in this state.  Any regulations adopted prior to the

1-16     effective date of this Act are governed by the law that existed

1-17     immediately before that effective date, and those regulations are

1-18     continued in effect for that purpose until such effective date.

1-19     Subsequent to the effective date of this Act, the provisions of

1-20     this Act shall supersede any other provisions of law or regulations

1-21     of administrative or other governmental bodies.
