HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

 1-1           WHEREAS, H.B. 1445 has been adopted by the house of

 1-2     representatives and the senate; and

 1-3           WHEREAS, The bill contains technical errors that need

 1-4     correction; now, therefore, be it

 1-5           RESOLVED, That the enrolling clerk of the house of

 1-6     representatives be hereby instructed to make the following

 1-7     corrections:

 1-8           (1)  In SECTION 27 of the bill, in Section 6.091(d)(2), Texas

 1-9     Racing Act (Article 179e, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes), as added

1-10     by the bill, strike "Subsection" and substitute "subdivision".

1-11           (2)  In SECTION 37 of the bill, in Section 11.011(h), Texas

1-12     Racing Act (Article 179e, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes), as added

1-13     by the bill, strike "Subsection (d)(1) of this section" and

1-14     substitute "Section 6.091(d)(1) of this Act".

1-15           (3)  In SECTION 37 of the bill, in Section 11.011(i), Texas

1-16     Racing Act (Article 179e, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes), as added

1-17     by the bill, strike "Subsection (c)(1) of this section" and

1-18     substitute "Section 6.091(c)(1) of this Act".

1-19           (4)  In SECTION 37 of the bill, in Section 11.011(k), Texas

1-20     Racing Act (Article 179e, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes), as added

1-21     by the bill, strike "the effective date of this Act" and substitute

1-22     "September 1, 1997,".

1-23           (5)  In SECTION 37 of the bill, in Section 11.011(l), Texas

1-24     Racing Act (Article 179e, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes), as added

 2-1     by the bill, in the sentence that states "A greyhound racing

 2-2     association and the state greyhound breed registry shall each pay

 2-3     their own arbitration expenses", strike "their" and substitute

 2-4     "its".
