                             HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

 1-1           WHEREAS, House Joint Resolution No. 31 has been adopted by

 1-2     the house of representatives and the senate and is being prepared

 1-3     for enrollment; and

 1-4           WHEREAS, The resolution contains technical errors that should

 1-5     be corrected; now, therefore, be it

 1-6           RESOLVED by the 75th Legislature of the State of Texas, That

 1-7     the enrolling clerk of the house of representatives be instructed

 1-8     to correct House Joint Resolution 31 as follows:

 1-9           (1)  In Senate Floor Amendment No. 1 by Senator Patterson, at

1-10     the end of Section 50(a)(6)(P)(ii), Article XVI, Texas

1-11     Constitution, as added by the amendment (page 4, line 21), strike

1-12     "or".

1-13           (2)  In Senate Floor Amendment No. 1 by Senator Patterson, at

1-14     the end of Section 50(a)(6)(P)(iii), Article XVI, Texas

1-15     Constitution, as added by the amendment (page 4, line 23), strike

1-16     "and".

1-17           (3)  In Senate Floor Amendment No. 1 by Senator Patterson,

1-18     in Section 50(a)(6)(Q)(iv), Article XVI, Texas Constitution, as

1-19     added by the amendment (page 5, line 8), strike "confession or

1-20     judgment" and substitute "confession of judgment".

1-21           (4)  In Senate Floor Amendment No. 3 by Senator Nixon, at the

1-22     end of Section 50(a)(6)(P)(iv), Article XVI, Texas Constitution, as

1-23     added by the amendment (page 1, line 6), strike the period and

1-24     substitute "; or".

 2-1           (5)  In Senate Floor Amendment No. 3 by Senator Nixon, at the

 2-2     end of Section 50(a)(6)(P)(v), Article XVI, Texas Constitution, as

 2-3     added by the amendment (page 1, line 9), strike the period and

 2-4     substitute "; and".

 2-5           (6)  In Senate Floor Amendment No. 4 by Senator Ellis (page

 2-6     1, line 3), strike "Finance Commission" and substitute "Finance

 2-7     Commission of Texas".

 2-8           (7)  In Senate Floor Amendment No. 5 by Senator Patterson,

 2-9     immediately following the semicolon at the end of Section

2-10     50(a)(5)(C), Article XVI, Texas Constitution, as amended by the

2-11     amendment, add "and".
