                                 R E S O L U T I O N

 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor

 1-2     Adam Crownover of Dumas High School on his recent induction into

 1-3     the Panhandle Hall of Fame; and

 1-4           WHEREAS, The first Dumas High School athlete to be chosen for

 1-5     this coveted honor, Mr. Crownover was the cornerstone of his

 1-6     football team's ground attack during the past season, rushing for

 1-7     1,968 yards and 22 touchdowns, and in recognition of his efforts,

 1-8     he was voted District 1-4A Most Valuable Player; and

 1-9           WHEREAS, In spite of his phenomenal individual

1-10     accomplishments, he consistently placed team goals above personal

1-11     ones and helped lead Dumas to a 10-2 record and its first playoff

1-12     appearance in 24 years; and

1-13           WHEREAS, This dynamic and versatile competitor is also a

1-14     member of the Dumas High School wrestling team, and brings to that

1-15     sport the same dedication and desire for excellence that are the

1-16     hallmark of all his many efforts; and

1-17           WHEREAS, Adam Crownover's exceptional achievements have

1-18     earned him a well-deserved place in the pantheon of superb athletes

1-19     who hail from the Texas Panhandle, and it is indeed appropriate

1-20     that he receive special legislative recognition on the occasion of

1-21     this significant honor; now, therefore, be it

1-22           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 75th Texas

1-23     Legislature hereby congratulate Adam Crownover on his induction

1-24     into the Panhandle Hall of Fame and extend to him sincere best

 2-1     wishes for continued success in all his future endeavors; and, be

 2-2     it further

 2-3           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

 2-4     prepared for Mr. Crownover as an expression of high regard by the

 2-5     Texas House of Representatives.
