R E S O L U T I O N

 1-1           WHEREAS, One of journalism's most esteemed traditions is that

 1-2     of the local weekly newspaper, and the Seagoville Suburbia News is

 1-3     one such enterprise, serving the residents of Seagoville,  Combine,

 1-4     Crandall, and Kleberg for the past 25 years; and

 1-5           WHEREAS, The paper was established, and has been published

 1-6     continuously, by the Wooley family, and throughout its history, the

 1-7     paper's dedicated staff has informed and enlightened fellow

 1-8     citizens on topics of local interest; and

 1-9           WHEREAS, Billed as the official newspaper for Seagoville,

1-10     Crandall, and Combine, the Seagoville Suburbia News has shared a

1-11     mutually beneficial relationship with its readers throughout the

1-12     years, and its management and staff look forward to the challenges

1-13     and opportunities of the years to come; now, therefore, be it

1-14           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 75th Texas

1-15     Legislature hereby honor the past and present staff members of the

1-16     Seagoville Suburbia News, including publisher and editor Neal

1-17     Wooley, consulting  editor Jerry Neal Wooley, classified and

1-18     circulation manager Lois Wooley, photographer and sports editor

1-19     Homer Allred, composer and typesetter Grace Garrett, and

1-20     advertising manager Neal Wooley, and extend to them sincere best

1-21     wishes for continued  success and happiness in the future; and, be

1-22     it further

1-23           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

1-24     prepared for the Seagoville Suburbia News as an expression of high

 2-1     regard by the  Texas House of Representatives.
