By Hodge H.R. No. 401 75R9546 SAJ-D R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor 1-2 Fred N. Moses for the many significant contributions he has made to 1-3 the Dallas business community; and 1-4 WHEREAS, A native of South Carolina, Mr. Moses was graduated 1-5 from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut and gained most of 1-6 his early business experience during his 11 years with General 1-7 Electric Supply Company; and 1-8 WHEREAS, Mr. Moses founded Telecom Electric Supply Company in 1-9 1985, and as its president and chief executive officer, he has 1-10 dedicated himself to making the enterprise a leading force in the 1-11 community; he has been rewarded for his efforts with the 1-12 organization's success, for it has received widespread recognition 1-13 and has been featured in the national journal, Black Enterprise; 1-14 and 1-15 WHEREAS, This eminent gentleman has earned many individual 1-16 accolades as well, including the North Texas Commission's Mentoring 1-17 Award, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority's Image Award, the CEO 1-18 Institute's Dallas 100 Award, and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's 1-19 Citizen of the Year Award; and 1-20 WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, he has enjoyed the love and 1-21 support of his family, which includes his beloved wife, Mazzie 1-22 Burgess Moses, and the couple's children, Michelle and Frederic; 1-23 and 1-24 WHEREAS, Fred Moses' high degree of professionalism and 2-1 genuine commitment to his work have been a source of great 2-2 inspiration to many people, and his noteworthy service truly merits 2-3 special legislative recognition at this time; now, therefore, be it 2-4 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 75th Texas 2-5 Legislature hereby honor Fred N. Moses for his outstanding 2-6 contributions to the Dallas business community and extend to him 2-7 best wishes for continued success and happiness in all his future 2-8 endeavors; and, be it further 2-9 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 2-10 prepared for Mr. Moses as an expression of high regard by the Texas 2-11 House of Representatives.
