R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, Albert W. Brown has contributed greatly to the 1-2 Sherman community both as a businessman and as a civic leader, and 1-3 his selection as an honorary member of the American Institute of 1-4 Certified Public Accountants provides a most fitting opportunity to 1-5 recognize him for his exceptional service; and 1-6 WHEREAS, Mr. Brown is a certified public accountant who is 1-7 currently serving as secretary-treasurer of Albert Brown & 1-8 Company; he is well regarded throughout the community for his 1-9 professionalism, expertise, and dedication, and his outstanding 1-10 efforts have helped to make the firm a fixture in the Sherman area; 1-11 and 1-12 WHEREAS, Despite the rigorous demands of his profession, he 1-13 has consistently made time in his busy schedule to work for the 1-14 betterment of his community; a former district governor of Lions 1-15 International, he has been active with the Lions Crippled 1-16 Children's Camp for many years and has served as a liaison for 1-17 Baylor Healthcare Systems as well; and 1-18 WHEREAS, Albert Brown has enhanced the quality of life in his 1-19 community in countless ways, and his exceptional commitment is a 1-20 source of inspiration to all who are privileged to know him; now, 1-21 therefore, be it 1-22 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 75th Texas 1-23 Legislature hereby commend Albert W. Brown for his exemplary civic 1-24 and professional involvement and extend to him sincere 2-1 congratulations on being named an honorary member of the American 2-2 Institute of Certified Public Accountants; and, be it further 2-3 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 2-4 prepared for Mr. Brown as an expression of high regard by the Texas 2-5 House of Representatives.
