                                 R E S O L U T I O N

 1-1           WHEREAS, Jackson Vending Supply, Inc., is one of the Lone

 1-2     Star State's exemplary business success stories, and the firm's

 1-3     50th anniversary is indeed an occasion worthy of special praise and

 1-4     recognition; and

 1-5           WHEREAS, Founded by owners Vernon and Ruthe Jackson in 1947,

 1-6     Jackson Vending Supply was originally located in their garage, and

 1-7     from these humble beginnings the company has grown to international

 1-8     stature, serving 13 states and Mexico; and

 1-9           WHEREAS, Despite its phenomenal growth over the years,

1-10     Jackson Vending Supply has remained a family business, and this

1-11     tradition continues today, as Mr. and Mrs. Jackson's legacy is

1-12     taken up by Dan and Jorja Clemson, Allison Clemson, Spencer

1-13     Clemson, and Leanna Clemson Garcia; and

1-14           WHEREAS, For half a century, the staff and management of

1-15     Jackson Vending Supply have provided top-flight service to their

1-16     clients, and in doing so they have established the company as one

1-17     of Grand Prairie's preeminent corporate citizens; now, therefore,

1-18     be it

1-19           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 75th Texas

1-20     Legislature hereby congratulate all those associated with Jackson

1-21     Vending Supply, Inc., on the firm's 50th anniversary and extend to

1-22     them sincere best wishes for continued success in the years to

1-23     come; and, be it further

1-24           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

 2-1     prepared for Jackson Vending Supply, Inc., as an expression of high

 2-2     regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
