                                 R E S O L U T I O N

 1-1           WHEREAS, March 7, 1997, was indeed a special day for  Michael

 1-2     and Ellen Kleinman, for it was on that day that they became the

 1-3     proud parents of a beautiful daughter, Mackenzie Brooke Kleinman;

 1-4     and

 1-5           WHEREAS, Since making her debut just a few weeks ago,

 1-6     Mackenzie Brooke has won the hearts of all who know her, and she is

 1-7     a bright and welcome addition to the Houston community; and

 1-8           WHEREAS, Dr. and Mrs. Kleinman have been capably assisted in

 1-9     caring for their new arrival by Mackenzie's older siblings,

1-10     five-year-old Alyssa and three-year-old Jonathan; Alyssa and

1-11     Jonathan will undoubtedly take great pride in sharing their worldly

1-12     wisdom with their younger sister and guiding her through the many

1-13     challenges of life in the years to come; and

1-14           WHEREAS, Friends and relatives of Dr. and Mrs. Kleinman have

1-15     been privileged to share their jubilation and excitement as they

1-16     have welcomed this lovely little girl into their family; and

1-17           WHEREAS, Blessed with personality, charm, and a proud Lone

1-18     Star birthright that will follow her wherever she goes, this fine

1-19     young Texan has indeed brightened the lives of everyone around her,

1-20     and she is a tremendous source of joy and delight to her family and

1-21     many new admirers; now, therefore, be it

1-22           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 75th Texas

1-23     Legislature hereby officially welcome Mackenzie Brooke Kleinman as

1-24     a new citizen of Texas and extend sincere congratulations to

 2-1     Michael and Ellen Kleinman on the birth of their darling new

 2-2     daughter; and, be it further

 2-3           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

 2-4     prepared for the Kleinman family as an expression of high regard by

 2-5     the Texas House of Representatives.
