R E S O L U T I O N

 1-1           WHEREAS, The wedding anniversary of two outstanding Texans

 1-2     who have shared 60 happy and rewarding years of marriage is truly a

 1-3     memorable occasion worthy of special recognition; and

 1-4           WHEREAS, Arthur and Olive Hart of Fort Worth recently had the

 1-5     privilege of commemorating such an event in their lives when they

 1-6     celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on March 14, 1997, with a

 1-7     reception hosted by the couple's children at River Oaks United

 1-8     Methodist Church; and

 1-9           WHEREAS, Married in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, the Harts have

1-10     nurtured an enduring relationship that has grown in love and

1-11     respect with each passing year and that has been blessed with two

1-12     children, Jim Hart and Kay Glazier; and

1-13           WHEREAS, Throughout their life together, the couple have been

1-14     valued and industrious members of their community; Mr. Hart is

1-15     retired from his career with General Dynamics, and Mrs. Hart is a

1-16     retired registered nurse; and

1-17           WHEREAS, Now deservedly enjoying the many benefits of a full

1-18     life together, the Harts find they have more time to pursue their

1-19     favorite pastimes, and they treasure the time they spend with their

1-20     family, which has grown to include three grandchildren and a

1-21     cherished great-grandchild; and

1-22           WHEREAS, For six decades, Arthur and Olive Hart have shared a

1-23     warm and affectionate union filled with many happy times and

1-24     cherished family memories; built on a solid foundation of mutual

 2-1     love, trust, and support, their marriage is a source of joy and

 2-2     inspiration to their many friends and family; now, therefore, be it

 2-3           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 75th Texas

 2-4     Legislature hereby congratulate Arthur and Olive Hart on the

 2-5     occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them

 2-6     warmest best wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further

 2-7           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

 2-8     prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Hart as an expression of high regard by

 2-9     the Texas House of Representatives.
