R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, Acceptance into a Catholic high school requires hard 1-2 work, dedication, and a commitment to Christian values, and a 1-3 number of outstanding students from San Antonio's Blessed Sacrament 1-4 Catholic School have recently achieved this significant goal; and 1-5 WHEREAS, Having combined outstanding academic records with 1-6 excellent scores on the rigorous entrance exams, the following 1-7 students have been offered well-deserved scholarships to their 1-8 chosen high school: Ashleigh Edmonds, Krystal Johnson, William 1-9 Lopez, Orlando Segura, Grace Lira, Marcos Lopez, Lisa Manchaca, and 1-10 Isaac Vasquez; and 1-11 WHEREAS, Their dedication to the tenets of the Catholic 1-12 church and their exemplary academic performance during their years 1-13 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School have not only earned them the 1-14 respect and admiration of their peers but also the opportunity to 1-15 continue the high quality education that they have received as 1-16 students of this renowned institution; and 1-17 WHEREAS, These noteworthy individuals will no doubt maintain 1-18 the high standards they have set for themselves as they embark on 1-19 their high school careers and begin their preparation for college, 1-20 and the members of this chamber are pleased to wish them well in 1-21 all their future endeavors; now, therefore, be it 1-22 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 75th Texas 1-23 Legislature hereby congratulate these fine students on their 1-24 remarkable accomplishments and extend to them sincere best wishes 2-1 for continued success and happiness in the years to come; and, be 2-2 it further 2-3 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 2-4 prepared for these commendable individuals as an expression of high 2-5 regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
