R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor 1-2 Heather Lynn Lascola for her scholastic endeavors and congratulate 1-3 her on her graduation from the Texas School for the Deaf on May 23, 1-4 1997; and 1-5 WHEREAS, While high school graduation is a memorable event in 1-6 the life of every graduate, the ceremony holds special significance 1-7 for Ms. Lascola, for she has overcome physical adversity to 1-8 successfully complete the requirements for a diploma; and 1-9 WHEREAS, She is currently employed in a clerical position, 1-10 and her academic accomplishments have helped lay the groundwork 1-11 for a promising career; and 1-12 WHEREAS, Ms. Lascola has demonstrated exceptional 1-13 intelligence, initiative, and maturity in successfully pursuing her 1-14 academic and career goals, and she is indeed deserving of special 1-15 legislative recognition for her achievements; now, therefore, be it 1-16 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 75th Texas 1-17 Legislature hereby congratulate Heather Lynn Lascola on the 1-18 occasion of her graduation from the Texas School for the Deaf and 1-19 extend to her warmest best wishes for continued success and 1-20 happiness in all her future endeavors; and, be it further 1-21 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 1-22 prepared for Ms. Lascola as an expression of high regard by the 1-23 Texas House of Representatives.
