R E S O L U T I O N 1-1 WHEREAS, Danielle Robinson of Girl Scout Troop 375 in San 1-2 Antonio has earned that organization's prestigious Gold Award, and 1-3 this notable distinction is truly worthy of special praise and 1-4 recognition; and 1-5 WHEREAS, Girl Scouting's highest honor, the Gold Award is 1-6 given to young women who have demonstrated excellence in the areas 1-7 of leadership, community service, career planning, and personal 1-8 development, and the rigorous standards necessary to qualify for 1-9 this honor ensure that those who achieve it are among scouting's 1-10 elite; and 1-11 WHEREAS, For her Gold Award project, called "Fitness is Fun," 1-12 Ms. Robinson organized and taught health and fitness courses to 1-13 Brownies, Junior Scouts, and members of the Eastside Boys and Girls 1-14 Club, and this valuable initiative has greatly benefited her fellow 1-15 San Antonians; and 1-16 WHEREAS, Danielle Robinson has distinguished herself as a 1-17 young woman of intelligence and ability whose remarkable 1-18 accomplishments as a Girl Scout point to a future bright with 1-19 promise, and it is indeed fitting at this time to recognize this 1-20 notable young Texan; now, therefore, be it 1-21 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 75th Texas 1-22 Legislature hereby congratulate Danielle Robinson on receiving the 1-23 Girl Scout Gold Award and extend to her sincere best wishes for 1-24 continued success and happiness in the years to come; and, be it 2-1 further 2-2 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be 2-3 prepared for Ms. Robinson as an expression of high regard by the 2-4 Texas House of Representatives.
