R E S O L U T I O N

 1-1           WHEREAS, The Texas House of Representatives is proud to honor

 1-2     Ralph David Castro, Jr., owner of Dyer Koach Kraft Paint & Body in

 1-3     Dallas, for his extraordinary entrepreneurial achievements and

 1-4     significant contributions to his community; and

 1-5           WHEREAS, Located on South Buckner Boulevard, Dyer Koach Kraft

 1-6     Paint & Body was founded three years ago and in that short span of

 1-7     time has become one of the most respected area businesses in the

 1-8     highly competitive arena of automotive body painting and repair;

 1-9     and

1-10           WHEREAS, This outstanding enterprise has broadened its

1-11     customer base to include several surrounding cities, and among the

1-12     respected companies and entities that are patrons of Dyer Koach

1-13     Kraft Paint & Body are Premier Car Rental, United Parcel Service,

1-14     Pepsi Cola, and Dallas Area Rapid Transit; and

1-15           WHEREAS, In recognition of its exceptional business

1-16     practices, Dyer Koach Kraft Paint & Body has been recognized by the

1-17     City of Dallas with a Minority Business Award Contract, and it is

1-18     also on the list of preferred providers of State Farm Insurance;

1-19     and

1-20           WHEREAS, Under Mr. Castro's leadership, Dyer Koach Kraft

1-21     Paint & Body has been involved in a number of worthy civic

1-22     initiatives, including providing free automobile body training to

1-23     juveniles who are at-risk for gang activity, financially assisting

1-24     economically disadvantaged children, donating to the Child

 2-1     Auto-Safety Campaign, and supporting other efforts that promote

 2-2     education, crime prevention, job creation, and public participation

 2-3     in government; and

 2-4           WHEREAS, The State of Texas has long realized the vital

 2-5     importance of small businesses to economic growth, and by founding

 2-6     Dyer Koach Kraft Paint & Body and nurturing the company through its

 2-7     formative years, Ralph David Castro, Jr., has performed a service

 2-8     to his community and state that is truly worthy of special

 2-9     legislative recognition; now, therefore, be it

2-10           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 75th Texas

2-11     Legislature hereby congratulate Ralph David Castro, Jr., on his

2-12     company's many accomplishments and extend to him sincere best

2-13     wishes for continued success in the future; and, be it further

2-14           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

2-15     prepared for Ralph David Castro, Jr., as an expression of high

2-16     regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
