R E S O L U T I O N

 1-1           WHEREAS, W. Christopher Caudill of BSA Troop 55 has ascended

 1-2     to the notable rank of Eagle Scout, and by successfully fulfilling

 1-3     the rank's demanding criteria, he has achieved a truly remarkable

 1-4     feat; and

 1-5           WHEREAS, This exemplary young man has consistently

 1-6     exemplified the high ideals of scouting and exhibited commendable

 1-7     perseverance in the pursuit of his goals; and

 1-8           WHEREAS, Receiving the Eagle Scout badge is an extremely rare

 1-9     honor, bestowed on only a fraction of those who enter the scouting

1-10     movement; and

1-11           WHEREAS, Befitting his newly attained rank among scouting's

1-12     elite, Eagle Scout Caudill was duly recognized for his outstanding

1-13     accomplishments and received his coveted silver insignia on May 6,

1-14     1997, and it is appropriate that he receive special legislative

1-15     recognition to mark this significant occasion; now, therefore, be

1-16     it

1-17           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 75th Texas

1-18     Legislature hereby congratulate W. Christopher Caudill on attaining

1-19     the rank of Eagle Scout and extend to him sincere best wishes for

1-20     continued success and happiness in all his future endeavors; and,

1-21     be it further

1-22           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

1-23     prepared for Eagle Scout Caudill as an expression of high regard by

1-24     the Texas House of Representatives.
