                                 R E S O L U T I O N

 1-1           WHEREAS, March 17, 1997, was indeed a special day for Isabel

 1-2     and Michael Gregory Barberio, for on that day they became the proud

 1-3     parents of a cherished baby boy, Jeramy Joseph Barberio; and

 1-4           WHEREAS, Jeramy Joseph weighed in at an impressive 8 pounds,

 1-5     11.7 ounces, and measured 21-5/8 inches in length when he was born

 1-6     at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen; Dr. Spilker helped

 1-7     to deliver the newest Barberio into the world, while Dr. Holmes

 1-8     gave him his first pediatric checkup; and

 1-9           WHEREAS, Blessed with an irresistible smile and a winning

1-10     personality, this charming little boy has brightened the lives of

1-11     everyone around him, and he is a tremendous source of pride and joy

1-12     to his family and many new admirers; and

1-13           WHEREAS, Jeramy Joseph is also a continuing delight to his

1-14     devoted grandparents, Theodore and Frances Rosales of Harlingen and

1-15     Joseph Ernest and Susan Carol Barberio of San Antonio, as well as

1-16     to his great-aunt, Olivia Leal, and his many aunts and uncles:

1-17     Martin and Mary Helen Vela, Lydia Lopez, Rosa Ortiz, Joe and Lucy

1-18     Rosales, Gilbert and Belinda Rosales, Miguel and Chris Mallen,

1-19     Stephen and Tracy Barberio, and Cindy Barberio; and

1-20           WHEREAS, In addition, Jeramy Joseph will benefit immeasurably

1-21     from the worldly wisdom of his older cousins, Matthew and Marcus

1-22     Vela, Jessica Garza, Eli Lopez, Jennifer and Elisa Ortiz, Abigail

1-23     and Jonathon Rosales, Krystal and Katherine Mallen, and Justin

1-24     Barberio; and

 2-1           WHEREAS, Friends and relatives of Isabel and Michael Gregory

 2-2     Barberio have been privileged to share their jubilation and

 2-3     excitement as they have welcomed this special little boy into their

 2-4     family, and it is indeed a privilege to commemorate Jeramy Joseph's

 2-5     birth and to recognize him as a truly treasured citizen of the Lone

 2-6     Star State; now, therefore, be it

 2-7           RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 75th Texas

 2-8     Legislature hereby officially welcome Jeramy Joseph Barberio as a

 2-9     new citizen of Texas and express hearty congratulations to Isabel

2-10     and Michael Gregory Barberio on the birth of their handsome new

2-11     son; and, be it further

2-12           RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be

2-13     prepared for the Barberio family as an expression of high regard by

2-14     the Texas House of Representatives.
