Tejeda Memorial 1-10 Highway. 1-11 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: 1-12 SECTION 1. Subchapter B, Chapter 225, Transportation Code, 1-13 is amended by adding Section 225.034 to read as follows: 1-14 Sec. 225.034. CONGRESSMAN FRANK M. TEJEDA MEMORIAL HIGHWAY. 1-15 (a) United States Highway 281 from its intersection with Loop 410 1-16 in Bexar County to its intersection with the Atascosa-Bexar County 1-17 Line is designated as the Congressman Frank M. Tejeda Memorial 1-18 Highway. 1-19 (b) The department shall design and construct memorial 1-20 markers indicating the highway number, the designation as the 1-21 Congressman Frank M. Tejeda Memorial Highway, and any other 1-22 appropriate information. 1-23 (c) The department shall erect a memorial marker at each end 1-24 of the memorial highway and at intermediate sites along the highway 1-25 that the department determines are appropriate. 1-26 SECTION 2. The importance of this legislation and the 1-27 crowded condition of the calendars in both houses create an 1-28 emergency and an imperative public necessity that the 1-29 constitutional rule requiring bills to be read on three several 1-30 days in each house be suspended, and this rule is hereby suspended, 1-31 and that this Act take effect and be in force from and after its 1-32 passage, and it is so enacted. 1-33 * * * * *
