 1-2                              SENATE RESOLUTION

 1-3           WHEREAS, A 57th wedding anniversary is a momentous occasion

 1-4     worthy of pride and joy; and

 1-5           WHEREAS, Clyde and Vera Mae Hall of Honey Grove placed great

 1-6     faith and trust in the future when they were married in 1939, and

 1-7     they have been amply rewarded, as they recently celebrated their

 1-8     57th anniversary; and

 1-9           WHEREAS, The achievement of this important milestone in

1-10     their lives is the result of the love, devotion, and mutual

1-11     respect of two outstanding individuals; and

1-12           WHEREAS, God's grace and blessings have been bestowed in

1-13     abundance on this esteemed couple; they have three children; and

1-14           WHEREAS, The survival of a marriage for 57 years, through

1-15     good times and bad, is a glowing tribute to the moral character

1-16     and personal integrity of the partners; the long and happy

1-17     marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Hall is truly an inspiration to us all;

1-18     now, therefore, be it

1-19           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,

1-20     75th Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to

1-21     Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hall on their 57th wedding anniversary; and,

1-22     be it further

1-23           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for

 2-1     the distinguished couple as a memento of this special day in

 2-2     their lives.
