1-2 SENATE RESOLUTION
1-3 WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary is a momentous occasion
1-4 worthy of pride and joy; and
1-5 WHEREAS, Hollis and Lois Tapp of Greenville placed
1-6 great faith and trust in the future when they were married
1-7 on January 1, 1947, and they have been amply rewarded, as they
1-8 recently celebrated their 50th anniversary; and
1-9 WHEREAS, The achievement of this important milestone in
1-10 their lives is the result of the love, devotion, and mutual
1-11 respect of two outstanding individuals; and
1-12 WHEREAS, God's grace and blessings have been bestowed in
1-13 abundance on this esteemed couple; their children are Matt Tapp,
1-14 Kathleen Smith, and Mark Tapp; the anniversary couple has seven
1-15 grandchildren; now, therefore, be it
1-16 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
1-17 75th Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to
1-18 Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Tapp on their 50th wedding anniversary;
1-19 and, be it further
1-20 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
1-21 this distinguished couple as a memento of this special day in
1-22 their lives.
