 1-2                              SENATE RESOLUTION

 1-3           WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to

 1-4     recognize Brian Angelo Dupre of Houston on achieving the rank of

 1-5     Eagle Scout; this fine young man joined the elite corps of Eagles

 1-6     recently and was presented the coveted Eagle Badge at a Court of

 1-7     Honor; and

 1-8           WHEREAS, Few achieve this distinguished honor; only two out

 1-9     of every 100 boys in the Boy Scout program ever attain the rank of

1-10     Eagle Scout; and

1-11           WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and

1-12     promise, Brian advanced through the ranks of Tenderfoot, Second,

1-13     First, Star, and Life classes before reaching Eagle Scout; and

1-14           WHEREAS, This personable young man has displayed leadership

1-15     through planning, developing, and conducting a service project; he

1-16     is truly a shining example to his fellow Scouts and citizens of his

1-17     community; and

1-18           WHEREAS, In being named Eagle Scout, Brian brings great

1-19     honor to himself, his family, his troop, his community, and his

1-20     state; now, therefore, be it

1-21           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,

1-22     75th Legislature, hereby commend Brian Angelo Dupre on receiving

1-23     this prestigious honor and congratulate him on his outstanding

 2-1     achievement; and, be it further

 2-2           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for

 2-3     Eagle Scout Dupre as an expression of high regard and esteem from

 2-4     the Texas Senate.
