No. 254 1-2 SENATE RESOLUTION 1-3 WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and 1-4 promise, Scott Christopher Fuhrman advanced through the ranks of 1-5 Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star, and Life classes before recently 1-6 attaining the rank of Eagle Scout; and 1-7 WHEREAS, In receiving the coveted Eagle Badge, this fine 1-8 young man becomes one of the privileged few who ever achieve 1-9 this distinguished honor; and 1-10 WHEREAS, In conducting a service project which allowed 1-11 him to exercise his leadership abilities, Scott has completed 1-12 the requirements for becoming an Eagle Scout and has at the 1-13 same time benefitted his community; and 1-14 WHEREAS, This personable young man brings great honor to 1-15 himself, his family, and his troop in joining the elite corps 1-16 of Eagles; and 1-17 WHEREAS, Scott Fuhrman is truly a shining example to his 1-18 troop and indeed all citizens of Texas; now, therefore, be it 1-19 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-20 75th Legislature, hereby commend Scott Christopher Fuhrman on 1-21 his outstanding achievement; and, be it further 1-22 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 1-23 Eagle Scout Fuhrman as an expression of admiration from the 2-1 Texas Senate. 2-2 ______________________________________ 2-3 President of the Senate 2-4 I hereby certify that the above 2-5 Resolution was adopted by the Senate 2-6 on February 26, 1997. 2-7 ______________________________________ 2-8 Secretary of the Senate 2-9 ______________________________________ 2-10 Member, Texas Senate
