 1-2                              SENATE RESOLUTION

 1-3           WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pride in

 1-4     recognizing Duncan DuVall for his many outstanding contributions

 1-5     to the Flower Mound community and the State of Texas; and

 1-6           WHEREAS, Born on December 4, 1952, in McKinney, Texas, he

 1-7     attended Lewisville schools and graduated in 1971; and

 1-8           WHEREAS, In spring of 1976, he joined his family's business,

 1-9     and he joined the masonic lodge in Lewisville in 1974; and

1-10           WHEREAS, Highly respected in his community, in 1980 Mr. DuVall

1-11     served as the Master of the Lodge, and in 1984 he became a member

1-12     of the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce; and

1-13           WHEREAS, Mr. DuVall formerly served as Chairman of the Board of

1-14     the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce, and his latest accomplishment

1-15     for the chamber is the new software and financial record-keeping

1-16     programs; and

1-17           WHEREAS, Active in numerous worthwhile endeavors, Mr. DuVall

1-18     has been an invaluable asset to the Republican Party for 20 years; and

1-19           WHEREAS, One who calls himself the background man, Duncan DuVall

1-20     is a source of strength to many, and his worthy accomplishments

1-21     reflect his dedication and commitment to his fellow man; now,

1-22     therefore, be it

1-23           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,

 2-1     75th Legislature, hereby commend Duncan DuVall for his outstanding

 2-2     achievements and wish him well in his future endeavors; and, be it

 2-3     further

 2-4           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for

 2-5     Mr. DuVall as an expression of the highest regard of the Texas Senate.
