1-2 SENATE RESOLUTION
1-3 WHEREAS, The City of Houston and the State of Texas
1-4 are justly proud of one of their fine young citizens,
1-5 Brian Angelo Dupre', who recently achieved the rank of
1-6 Eagle Scout; and
1-7 WHEREAS, This outstanding young gentleman brought honor to
1-8 himself, his family, his troop, his community, and his state in
1-9 earning the coveted Eagle Badge; and
1-10 WHEREAS, Brian completed a service project which required
1-11 him to exercise his leadership abilities and at the same time
1-12 benefit his community; and
1-13 WHEREAS, Few are ever privileged to be named among the
1-14 ranks of the elite corps of Eagle Scouts; only two out of every
1-15 100 Boy Scouts reach this lofty position; and
1-16 WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and
1-17 promise, Brian advanced from Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star,
1-18 and Life classes to that of Eagle Scout; he is truly an exemplary
1-19 citizen of the State of Texas; now, therefore, be it
1-20 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
1-21 75th Legislature, hereby congratulate Brian Angelo Dupre' of Troop
1-22 455 on attaining the rank of Eagle Scout and commend him on this
1-23 great achievement; and, be it further
2-1 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
2-2 Eagle Scout Dupre' as a token of great admiration and esteem from
2-3 the Texas Senate.
