 1-2                              SENATE RESOLUTION

 1-3                                  In Memory

 1-4                                     of

 1-5                          Minnie Keilmann Rodriguez

 1-6           WHEREAS, The passing of Minnie Keilmann Rodriguez of

 1-7     San Antonio on February 25, 1997, at the age of 87, was deeply

 1-8     mourned by the residents of her community; and

 1-9           WHEREAS, Known for her compassion and gentle nature,

1-10     the esteemed lady will be remembered for her dedication to her

1-11     family, her friends, and her faith; and

1-12           WHEREAS, An exemplary and hardworking individual,

1-13     Mrs. Rodriguez was respected in the community for her notable

1-14     accomplishments; she was a woman of strength and generosity who

1-15     gave unselfishly of her time and wisdom to others; and

1-16           WHEREAS, Her genuine warmth and good humor will be missed

1-17     by those who were fortunate to know her; and

1-18           WHEREAS, A devoted mother and grandmother, Mrs. Rodriguez

1-19     provided a nurturing home for her beloved daughter, Gloria, and

1-20     was blessed with fine grandchildren; and

1-21           WHEREAS, She leaves behind memories that will be forever

1-22     treasured by her family and friends; now, therefore, be it

1-23           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,

 2-1     75th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the

 2-2     bereaved family of Minnie Keilmann Rodriguez:  her grandchildren,

 2-3     Connie and Richard Reyes, Jr., Patricia L. Reyes, and

 2-4     Lawrence A. Reyes; her sisters, Juliet Murillo, Lorene Perez,

 2-5     and Lillie Dare; and her brothers, Victor R. Keilmann and

 2-6     Robert Keilmann; and, be it further

 2-7           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared

 2-8     for her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the

 2-9     Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do

2-10     so in memory of Minnie Keilmann Rodriguez.
