 1-2                              SENATE RESOLUTION

 1-3           WHEREAS, Steven Richard Massey has recently been honored by

 1-4     the Boy Scout program for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout; and

 1-5           WHEREAS, After planning, developing, and conducting a service

 1-6     project through which the community was benefited, this fine young

 1-7     gentleman was recognized as an able and outstanding leader; and

 1-8           WHEREAS, Steven brings great honor to himself in earning the

 1-9     coveted Eagle Badge; his family, troop, community, and state are

1-10     justly proud of his great accomplishment; and

1-11           WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and

1-12     promise, this personable young man advanced through the ranks of

1-13     Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star, and Life classes before reaching

1-14     Eagle Scout; and

1-15           WHEREAS, Steven has become one of a privileged few to achieve

1-16     this prestigious honor and is a glowing example to all citizens of

1-17     Texas; now, therefore, be it

1-18           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,

1-19     75th Legislature, hereby commend Steven Richard Massey on receiving

1-20     this esteemed honor and congratulate him on his great achievement;

1-21     and, be it further

1-22           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for

1-23     Eagle Scout Massey as an expression of great admiration from the

 2-1     Texas Senate.
