 1-2                              SENATE RESOLUTION

 1-3           WHEREAS, Freida Feaster and Neubron Bruner placed great

 1-4     faith and trust in the future when they married on

 1-5     February 28, 1947, and they have been amply rewarded as they

 1-6     recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary; and

 1-7           WHEREAS, The world has changed considerably during the years

 1-8     of their marriage, yet Mr. and Mrs. Bruner of the Nash community

 1-9     have steadfastly embraced traditional family and moral values; and

1-10           WHEREAS, Over the years, they have grown stronger in their

1-11     love and devotion as together they have experienced the joys and

1-12     sorrows of everyday living; and

1-13           WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Bruner were blessed with a wonderful

1-14     family:  their children, Kim Bruner Harris, Marsha Shubert, and

1-15     Freddie Neubron Bruner; and their four grandchildren and four

1-16     great-grandchildren; and

1-17           WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Bruner shared their happiness with

1-18     their family and friends at a reception hosted by their children

1-19     and grandchildren on March 2, 1997, at the Ellis County Woman's

1-20     Building; and

1-21           WHEREAS, The long and happy union of Mr. and Mrs. Bruner

1-22     is truly an inspiration to us all; now, therefore, be it

1-23           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,

 2-1     75th Legislature, hereby extend sincere congratulations to

 2-2     Mr. and Mrs. Neubron Bruner on their 50th wedding anniversary;

 2-3     and, be it further

 2-4           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for

 2-5     this distinguished couple as a memento of this special day in

 2-6     their lives.
