1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 532 1-2 WHEREAS, The marriage of two fine young people is hailed as 1-3 a joyous event accompanied by much preparation and anticipation by 1-4 all parties involved; and 1-5 WHEREAS, May 10, 1997, will indeed be a special day for 1-6 Linda Kay Jamison and Ted Schaefer Harris for on that day they will 1-7 be united in marriage and begin their new life together as husband 1-8 and wife; and 1-9 WHEREAS, The impending union of this devoted young 1-10 couple has brought great joy to their parents; Linda is the 1-11 daughter of Bill and Marilyn Jamison, and Ted is the son of 1-12 John and Norma Harris; and 1-13 WHEREAS, Linda was born in San Antonio and spent many of her 1-14 younger years in Lubbock, while Ted was born in Borger and grew 1-15 up in Stinnett; and 1-16 WHEREAS, Since their first meeting, the relationship between 1-17 these two fine young Texans has continued to grow in love, respect, 1-18 and lasting regard for each other with each passing day; and 1-19 WHEREAS, The Texas Senate is pleased to send warmest 1-20 congratulations to Linda and Ted as they begin their new life 1-21 together; now, therefore, be it 1-22 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 1-23 75th Legislature, hereby honor Linda Kay Jamison and 2-1 Ted Schaefer Harris on the special event of their marriage and 2-2 extend to them warmest best wishes for a lifetime of happiness 2-3 together; and, be it further 2-4 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this Resolution be prepared 2-5 for Ted Harris and Linda Jamison as an expression of the high 2-6 regard of the Texas Senate. 2-7 Wentworth 2-8 ______________________________________ 2-9 President of the Senate 2-10 I hereby certify that the above 2-11 Resolution was adopted by the Senate 2-12 on April 18, 1997. 2-13 ______________________________________ 2-14 Secretary of the Senate 2-15 ______________________________________ 2-16 Member, Texas Senate
