1-1 SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 646
1-2 WHEREAS, The City of Houston and the State of Texas are
1-3 justly proud of one of their fine young citizens,
1-4 Graeme Leonard Dewstow, who recently achieved the rank of
1-5 Eagle Scout; and
1-6 WHEREAS, This outstanding young gentleman brought honor
1-7 to himself, his family, his troop, his community, and his state
1-8 in earning the coveted Eagle Badge; and
1-9 WHEREAS, Graeme completed a service project which required
1-10 him to exercise his leadership abilities and at the same time
1-11 benefit his community; and
1-12 WHEREAS, Few are ever privileged to be named among the ranks
1-13 of the elite corps of Eagle Scouts; only two out of every 100
1-14 Boy Scouts reach this lofty position; and
1-15 WHEREAS, Following the principles of the Scout oath and
1-16 promise, Graeme advanced from Tenderfoot, Second, First, Star,
1-17 and Life classes to that of Eagle Scout; he is truly an exemplary
1-18 citizen of the State of Texas; now, therefore, be it
1-19 RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
1-20 75th Legislature, hereby congratulate Graeme Leonard Dewstow of
1-21 Troop 455 on attaining the rank of Eagle Scout and commend him
1-22 on this great achievement; and, be it further
1-23 RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
2-1 Eagle Scout Dewstow as a token of great admiration and esteem
2-2 from the Texas Senate.
