1-1                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 691

        1-2           WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to

        1-3     recognize Bridget Ann Muras on the auspicious occasion of her

        1-4     graduation from Saint Thomas University in Houston on May 24, 1997;

        1-5     and

        1-6           WHEREAS, Talented and hardworking, Bridget has earned a

        1-7     well-deserved college degree with a major in psychology and a minor

        1-8     in theology; and

        1-9           WHEREAS, A respected and well-liked student, Bridget will be

       1-10     missed by her fellow students and by the faculty of this esteemed

       1-11     institution; and

       1-12           WHEREAS, Having faced the many challenges of college

       1-13     education with success and distinction, Bridget now embarks on an

       1-14     adventure into a world for which she is well prepared and which

       1-15     holds countless opportunities for her; and

       1-16           WHEREAS, Bridget's future plans include attending the Houston

       1-17     Police Academy, where she has been accepted for the term beginning

       1-18     May 28, 1997; now, therefore, be it

       1-19           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 75th

       1-20     Legislature, hereby commend Bridget Ann Muras for her superior

       1-21     accomplishments and extend to her best wishes for the future; and,

       1-22     be it further

       1-23           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her

        2-1     as a token of congratulations from the Texas Senate.       Whitmire
