1-1                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 693

        1-2           WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes great

        1-3     pleasure in congratulating Cynthia Azmitia on her graduation

        1-4     from Texas A&M University in College Station on May 9, 1997;

        1-5     and

        1-6           WHEREAS, Cynthia has demonstrated her determination to

        1-7     accomplish the goals she set for herself and has earned a degree

        1-8     in psychology; she has received the respect and recognition she

        1-9     so richly deserves; and

       1-10           WHEREAS, Admired by students and teachers alike, Cynthia

       1-11     will be missed by her friends and by the faculty members of this

       1-12     esteemed institution; and

       1-13           WHEREAS, Having faced the many challenges of a college

       1-14     education with success and distinction, Cynthia now embarks on

       1-15     an adventure into a world for which she is well prepared and

       1-16     which holds countless exciting opportunities for her; now,

       1-17     therefore, be it

       1-18           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,

       1-19     75th Legislature, hereby commend Cynthia Azmitia for her

       1-20     superior accomplishments and extend best wishes to her for

       1-21     continued success in her future endeavors; and, be it further

       1-22           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared

       1-23     for her as a token of the high regard of the Texas Senate.
