1-1                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 747

        1-2           WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure

        1-3     in recognizing Gary Doniger on the momentous occasion of his

        1-4     retirement from the United States Department of the Treasury,

        1-5     Internal Revenue Service; and

        1-6           WHEREAS, Throughout his notable career as a controller with

        1-7     the Internal Revenue Service, Mr. Doniger served with diligence

        1-8     and dedication to excellence; and

        1-9           WHEREAS, Over the past 25 years, he has been a valued

       1-10     employee who performed beneficial functions for the department;

       1-11     and

       1-12           WHEREAS, His varied duties in the day-to-day operations of

       1-13     the Internal Revenue Service were handled with efficiency and

       1-14     dedication to the people he so conscientiously served; and

       1-15           WHEREAS, Mr. Doniger set a high standard of professionalism,

       1-16     inspiring others by his loyalty, dependability, and exemplary

       1-17     conduct; and

       1-18           WHEREAS, The esteemed individual earned the respect and

       1-19     admiration of all those with whom he was associated; now,

       1-20     therefore, be it

       1-21           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,

       1-22     75th Legislature, hereby express its appreciation to Gary Doniger

       1-23     for his exemplary career of service to the citizens of our state

        2-1     and nation; and, be it further

        2-2           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for

        2-3     Mr. Doniger as an expression of the high esteem of the Texas Senate

        2-4     with best wishes for many happy retirement years.
