1-1                          SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 800

        1-2           WHEREAS, After years of dedication, work, and perseverance,

        1-3     Christen Rene Crow is to be congratulated on the auspicious occasion

        1-4     of her high school graduation; and

        1-5           WHEREAS, A participant in the home school movement, Christen

        1-6     has completed her high school studies in a most scholarly manner;

        1-7     she is a hard worker on the job and at home and is loyal to her

        1-8     family and friends; and

        1-9           WHEREAS, A devout Christian, Christen has a generous

       1-10     spirit and a compassionate heart; she is sincere in her walk as a

       1-11     Christian and strives to live in a manner pleasing to her Heavenly

       1-12     Father; and

       1-13           WHEREAS, A recipient of the rank of an Honor Star in her

       1-14     church's Missionette program, Christen has worked diligently to

       1-15     have a good relationship with her parents; and

       1-16           WHEREAS, Having a special love for young children, she has

       1-17     taught a toddlers' class at church; and

       1-18           WHEREAS, The family and friends of the bright young student

       1-19     are justly proud of her outstanding achievement; and

       1-20           WHEREAS, An exemplary student, Christen embarks on an

       1-21     adventure into a world which has countless exciting opportunities;

       1-22     and

       1-23           WHEREAS, It is a pleasure for the Texas Senate to recognize

        2-1     the exceptional accomplishments of this remarkable young lady who

        2-2     has equipped herself with skills enabling her to take full

        2-3     advantage of all that the future holds for her; now, therefore,

        2-4     be it

        2-5           RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,

        2-6     75th Legislature, hereby commend and applaud the great

        2-7     accomplishment of this distinguished Texan; and, be it further

        2-8           RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for

        2-9     Christen Rene Crow as an expression of the great admiration and

       2-10     respect of the Texas Senate.
