In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB51 ( Relating 
to requiring a declaration of write-in candidacy in an election 
for the members of the governing body of a junior college district 
or the board of a hospital district.) this office has detemined 
the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB51-As Engrossed
         
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
This bill would amend the Education Code and the Health and 
Safety Code to require write-in candidates to file a declaration 
of write-in candidacy in Junior College District and Hospital 
District elections.  No significant fiscal impact on local governments 
is anticipated.
