In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB164 ( Relating
to tests for human immunodeficiency virus infection on delivery
of a child.) this office has detemined the following:
Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB164-Committee Report 1st House, Substituted
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
Some savings may be realized due to elimination of some HIV
testing.
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government
is anticipated although there could be some savings to local
hospitals.
