FISCAL ANALYSIS

This bill contains two minor changes to
the Texas Local Fire Fighters Retirement Act. The change to
Section 7(f) of the Act would allow the board of trustees to
apply changes retroactively to maintain a plan's tax qualification
status. Section 19(a) would be changed to removes residency
requirements for members of the board of trustees.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
