In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB425 ( Relating 
to the policies of state agencies regarding work and family 
issues.) this office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB425-As Engrossed
         
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         
The bill would amend Section 81, Labor Code, to require one 
member of the Work and Family Policy Advisory Committee to be 
a representative of the Child Care Development Board.

The 
bill would also authorize the Texas Workforce Commission to 
employ a work-family facilitator to assist state agencies with 
establishing work policies that allow employees to address both 
work and family responsibilities. 
         
 
          
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
