In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB493 ( Relating 
to the regulation of the sale or distribution of tobacco products; 
providing penalties.) this office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB493-As Introduced
         
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
This bill would implement the Texas Performance Review recommendation 
HHS4 in "Disturbing the Peace: The Challenge of Change in Texas 
Government."
          
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government 
is anticipated.
