In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB770 ( Relating 
to the acquisition by the Parks and Wildlife Department of real 
property owned by the permanent school fund.) this office has 
detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB770-As Engrossed
         

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         
The bill would transfer interest in specific land within the 
boundaries of Franklin Mountains State Park from the permanent 
school fund to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD). 
 In exchange for the land, TPWD would convey land of equal market 
value from TPWD-held lands to the permanent school fund.  The 
exchange would have no fiscal impact.

         
 
          
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
