In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB885 ( Relating
to required planning for the permanent placement of certain
children not residing with their families.) this office has
detemined the following:

Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB885-As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code and direct the Health

to establish four local sites for coordination of permanency
planning and to report to the legislature on their findings
by December 1, 1998.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
