In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB917 ( Relating
to the ability of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice to
enter into contracts for inmate labor that provide inmates with
access to personal information about persons who are) this office
has detemined the following:
Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB917-As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government
is anticipated.
