In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB1078 ( Relating 
to the payment of fees and other charges to counties by credit 
card.) this office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB1078-Committee Report 1st House, Substituted
         
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
This bill would allow a county to collect a fee for the processing 
of payments made by credit card.  Because it is expected that 
counties would set fees only to cover expenses associated with 
handling credit card payments, no significant fiscal implication 
to counties is anticipated.
