"Pete" Laney IN RE: House Bill No. 1091, As Passed 2nd House Speaker of the House By: Goodman House of Representatives Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB1091 ( Relating to the parent-child relationship, including suits affecting the parent-child relationship, the establishment of paternity, the termination of the parent-child relationship, and the adoption of children; providing penalties.) this office has detemined the following: Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB1091-As Passed 2nd House No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of the bill. The bill would dedicate fees collected for the central adoption registry for the use of the registry, and require revenue to be deposited into a special account in the general revenue fund.
