In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB1109 ( Relating
to restrictive covenants applicable to certain residential real
estate subdivisions.) this office has detemined the following:

Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB1109-As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

FISCAL ANALYSIS

This bill would extend the applicability
of Chapter 201, Property Code, to all cities over 100,000 population.
As a result of this bill's enactment, it is expected that county
clerks offices in counties containing such cities would experience
a nominal increase in the number of restrictive covenant renewals
filed.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local
government is anticipated.
