In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB1143 ( Relating 
to the creation of the County Court at Law of Lamar County.) 
this office has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB1143-As Introduced
         
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
The bill would create a county court at law for Lamar County. 
 County officials estimate the net cost to the county (additional 
revenue less additional expenditures) to be $160,121 in FY 1998, 
$149,933 in FY 1999, approximately $150,000 thereafter.
