In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB1243 ( Relating 
to energy savings projects for local governments.) this office 
has detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB1243-Committee Report 1st House, Substituted
         

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         

         
 
          
This bill would allow local governments to enter into lease/purchase 
contracts for energy conservation measures, but would limit 
a local governments contractual obligations in any one year 
could not exceed the cost savings of conservation measures divided 
by the number of years in the contract term.

No significant 
fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
