          House

         FROM: John Keel, Director

In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB1561 ( Relating
to the regulation of alarm systems by municipalities and counties.)
this office has detemined the following:

Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB1561-As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill could result in increased revenues to municipalities
and counties that choose to raise the maximum annual fee for
business establishment alarm permits and false alarms. It is
anticipated that any additional revenues collected would be
used to offset law enforcement costs associated with responding
to alarms.
