In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB1574 ( Relating 
to the right of an employee to inspect the personnel records 
regarding that employee; providing a penalty.) this office has 
detemined the following:
         
         Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB1574-As Introduced
         
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
         
Although the Texas Workforce Commission estimates approximately 
$590,000 in the first year and $508,000 in subsequent years 
for investigations and database development, this analysis estimates 
that any costs required could be absorbed with current commission 
resources.
         
 
          
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
