LEGISLATIVE BUDGET BOARD Austin, Texas FISCAL NOTE 75th Regular Session March 20, 1997 TO: Honorable Bob Hunter, Chair IN RE: House Bill No. 1673 Committee on State, Federal & International Relations By: Hunter House Austin, Texas FROM: John Keel, Director In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB1673 ( Relating to payment of per diem to members of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.) this office has detemined the following: Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB1673-As Introduced No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions of the bill. The bill would authorize members of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission to receive a per diem, as provided by the General Appropriations Act, for attending a meeting of the commission. The per diem for the commission would be approximately $1,080 per year. No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
