In response to your request for a Fiscal Note on HB1673 ( Relating
to payment of per diem to members of the Texas State Library
and Archives Commission.) this office has detemined the following:

Biennial Net Impact to General Revenue Funds by HB1673-As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would make no appropriation but could provide the legal
basis for an appropriation of funds to implement the provisions
of the bill.

The bill would authorize members of the Texas
State Library and Archives Commission to receive a per diem,
as provided by the General Appropriations Act, for attending
a meeting of the commission. The per diem for the commission
would be approximately $1,080 per year.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
